  One room booked for a family of three. It was clean and comfortable and is a five minute walk to the NEC. It's also close to resort world with a shopping and restaurant area. Food in the restaurant is amazing. The breakfast was everything you would expect good quality and filling. It's close to the city centre and i would definitely would come back. The staff on reception were all friendly and knew the area really well for places to go.

  During an exceptionally busy weekend at The NEC (multiple events and a fully booked hotel), the staff just collapsed under the weight of the work.
  
  Checking in took around 15mins as staff struggled with computers. That meant two staff to a till. Which meant one group checking in at a time. Which meant a large queue forming.
  
  Then we get to the room for three, but there's only a double bed. So we journey back down, only to be informed a cot is being transferred in 'at some point'. Would have been nice to no instead of carting several large bags back down in the lift.
  
  Staff just seemed unable to cope with the demand. Checking out wasn't much better.
